Our Story

Brushtail started in 2020 as a luxury possum merino fashion brand that designs and makes timeless pieces for your children and grandchildren.  

As a mum of two, with a confessed obsession for cute and cosy kids clothing, it is important to know that the clothing I put on my kids is warm, comfortable, durable and made with natural fibres and dyes.  

So, when a local knitting establishment was looking to venture into a fresh new direction with their unique blend of possum merino, the idea of being able to create a range of knitwear for my own kids was such an exciting prospect! 

I am so excited to share this collection of children’s possum merino wear with you and I hope that these items become the ‘family heirlooms’ to be passed down the generations.
